IPL FLOAT PARADE 2009

The Food Lab secured catering for all the IPL teams on Thursday 16 April 2009 before the start of the float parade through the streets of Cape Town. Over 2000 canapes, a 7m bar service and 35 serving staff ensured that the event went off without a hitch. The razzmatazz of the 2009 Indian Premier League (IPL) was plain to see as the tournament announced its arrival in South Africa with a dashing parade through the streets of Cape Town. More than 150 players a were in attendance, as were Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty, who are part-owners of the Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals respectively
